Use the Quick Add feature in EstimatorFLEX to save time by eliminating repetitive data entry. Quick Add works with:
- Users
- PBS elements
- Tasks
- Resources, resource estimates, and discrete resource estimates.
- Custom resource field values and custom task field values.
- SOW and BOE text and attachments (in the PBS and in tasks).

The Edit permission for the Proposals feature does not control the ability to enter resource and travel estimates. If someone should be prevented from changing any estimates, revoke their role’s Edit, Add, and Delete permissions for the Resource Estimates and Travel Estimates features.

On the Estimates page, in the drop-down menu above grid, change the estimate type to Resource or Travel instead of All.

A daily rate is the regular rate that will be charged once per day, if the car is rented for less than a week. A weekly rate is the special rate that will be charged once per day (not once per week), if the car is rented for more than a week. A monthly rate is the special rate that will be charged once per day (not once per month), if the car is rented for more than a month.
Since companies sometimes offer a discounted daily rate for renting by week or month, you can enter a different rates to cover these scenarios.
Depending on the length of the trip, the daily rate, weekly rate, or monthly rate will be used. When the length of the trip is greater than the number of days in a rental car week, EstimatorFLEX uses the weekly rate. When the trip is longer than a rental car month, EstimatorFLEX uses the monthly rate.
The Days Per Week (Rental Car) setting and the Days Per Month (Rental Car) setting show how many days make up a rental car week and month in your proposal. The number of days comes from the ProPricer Contractor Edition Enterprise travel rate table integrated with your proposal, so these settings are only for informational purposes in EstimatorFLEX. To change them, log into ProPricer CE Enterprise and edit the travel rate table's properties.

You can add SOW and BOE text and attachments to PBS elements and to tasks.
The Configuration proposal settings determine what you can add and where you can add it. If Link SOW/BOE to is set to PBS, then you can add the SOW and BOE to the PBS only. If it is set to Task, then you can add the SOW and BOE to tasks, but you can only add the SOW to the PBS.
To add proposal-wide text with no attachments, use the Text proposal settings. When you later add SOW text to the PBS, you can quickly open the proposal text to copy all or part of it, like this:

Yes. After creating a BOE text template, you can set it as the default template in all proposals available in EstimatorFLEX, including any imported from CE Enterprise.
To use a template, edit a proposal's settings, then go to Configuration > Default BOE Text Template.

No. When you submit a proposal, all of it is sent from EstimatorFLEX to CE Enterprise.
