Quick Add PBS elements
Use Quick Add to create multiple PBS elements at once. Alternatively, you can create elements one by one, but you'll save more time with Quick Add.
- Go to the RAM or the Estimates page, then click Add > Quick Add > WBS.
- Your button will be labeled differently if you renamed the PBS.
- Enter each element's information in a separate row.
- An asterisk in a column name means that it is required.
- If you're unsure what to enter, see the following table to learn more.
- Click Create WBS.
| Element* | Enter a name for the element. |
| Description | Enter a description of the element. |
| Parent | To add a top-level element with no parent, leave this blank. To add a child, enter the name of the existing element that will be its parent. |
| Allow Estimates | Select Yes to unlock the element, or select No to lock it. No data can be entered in a locked element. |
| Workflow Step - Users | Select the associated users of each workflow step. |
| Workflow Step - Due Date | Enter the due date of each workflow step. |
| Delete | To remove rows of information, select the rows, then click Delete. |
Click the Download Excel Template button to get an empty spreadsheet with the same columns. Once you've filled the template in, you can paste everything from there in EstimatorFLEX.
