Update travel rates in a trip

You can update the travel expenses in trips with the most current rates in your proposal's travel rate table. If the table's rates change in ProPricer™ Contractor Edition Enterprise, use the Update feature to apply the new rates to any existing trips in EstimatorFLEX.

Travel rates can be updated at the proposal breakdown structure (PBS), task, or trip level. That means you can update the expenses of all trips in a PBS element, all trips in a task, or just one trip.

  1. On the Estimates page, select a PBS element, a task header, or a trip header.
  2. Above the grid, click More Actions > Update.
  3. Select the travel expenses that need updated rates, then click Update.
To update expense rates, you need the correct Estimates permissions. Make sure your role can access the Update feature and edit the Travel Expense Rate feature.
