Activity feeds

All levels of ProPricer™ EstimatorFLEX, from the system level down to the task level, include readily accessible activity feeds. These feeds generate notifications about important events, and they provide instant messaging between logged in users.

If you see an item that you're interested in, such as a proposal or task, click to view its activity feed. Then you can:

  • Follow and unfollow the activity feed.
  • Chat with other followers.
  • Delete your comments.
  • Add and remove other people as followers.

When a proposal, proposal breakdown structure (PBS) element, or task is created, a dedicated activity feed comes along with it. Additionally, the creator automatically follows the feed. Followers receive an inbox notification any time a comment or major event occurs in the activity feed.

In your inbox, click the Go to... button in an activity feed to see the proposal, PBS element, or task that the feed belongs to.

System activity feed

The System activity feed offers the most expansive degree of visibility and communication in EstimatorFLEX. There you'll find updates about system-level changes pertinent to all proposals or users. By default, every new user follows this feed, so it's the best place to discuss general topics, broadcast company-wide alerts, etc.

To access the System activity feed, open your inbox.
