Undefined ProPricer 9 tasks

The proposal breakdown structure (PBS) is a necessary part of every EstimatorFLEX proposal because the PBS elements contain your tasks.

In a ProPricer 9 proposal, a PBS can be set up by creating a summary field and assigning its values to tasks.

When restoring a ProPricer 9 proposal, the summary field that represents your PBS should be selected in the Build Proposal Breakdown Structure From menu.

If any tasks in the ProPricer 9 proposal have no summary value assigned, they will be restored in the --Undefined-- element at the top of your PBS. You should then move these tasks to the correct element.

Unsupported ProPricer 9 data

Some data in ProPricer 9.3 and 9.4 is incompatible with EstimatorFLEX and will cancel the restore process. Before attempting to restore a proposal archive from Government Edition or Contractor Edition Enterprise, make sure it does not contain the following:

  • Cost estimating relationships (CERs)
  • Materials
  • Activities
  • Rate bands
  • Resource sets
  • Formulas
  • Allocations
  • Time and material (T&M) rates
  • Scheduled rates
  • Exchange rates
  • Asset tables
  • Composite rates
  • User-defined travel expenses
  • Quarterly or annual travel rate tables
  • Task-specific travel destinations
  • Travel destinations with no resource assigned in a travel rate table
  • Archived global data
  • Services proposals
  • Proposal rate overrides
