Quick Add SOW and BOE to tasks

Use Quick Add to change the SOW or BOE information for multiple tasks at once. Alternatively, you can add SOW or BOE information to tasks one by one, but you'll save more time with Quick Add.

  1. On the Estimates page, select a PBS element. Its tasks will appear in the estimates grid to the right.
  2. Above the grid, click More ActionsQuick Add Quick Add Task SOW or Quick Add Task BOE.
  3. Enter the SOW or BOE information for each task in a separate row.
    • An asterisk in a column name means that the information is required.
    • If you're unsure what to enter, see the following table to learn more.
  4. Click Add Task SOW or Add Task BOE.
Task Select the task that the SOW or BOE will be added to.
Content Options* Select Append to add the content at the end of the existing SOW or BOE text. Select Replace to delete all existing text and replace it with the new content.
Content Click to open a text editor. In the editor, you can create the text from scratch, or you can click to import a Microsoft Word .docx file.
Attachment Click the button to open a file explorer and select an attachment. You can also drag a file from your computer to this area.
Select Attachments Click the button to select multiple attachments. Select them in a file explorer, or drag them from your computer. The files will appear in separate rows in the order you selected them.

To select multiple attachments in a file explorer, hold Ctrl or Shift when you click the files. Or press Ctrl+A to select all files in a folder.

Delete To remove rows of information, select the rows, then click Delete.
Click the Download Excel Template button to get an empty spreadsheet with the same Quick Add columns. Once you've filled the template in, you can paste everything from there in the Quick Add form.
