Add a proposal from CE

If you already look to a contract-awarded proposal as your benchmark, why not start the estimating process from there instead of creating an empty proposal from scratch? Just connect to your data server and add a proposal from ProPricer Contractor Edition Enterprise.

1. In the navigation pane, click Proposals.
2. On the Proposals page, click Add Proposal > Add Proposal From CE.
3. In the Data Server field, select the server that has the ProPricer CE Enterprise proposal.
4. Enter your ProPricer CE Enterprise credentials or Windows credentials for the selected data server.
   • To change your login type, go to your system settings.
5. Click Next.
6. Select a CE Enterprise proposal from the database you're connected to.
7. The Build Proposal Breakdown Structure From menu lists all summary fields, such as CLIN and WBS, used in the CE Enterprise proposal to classify tasks. Select the summary field that will become the PBS in EstimatorFLEX.
8. Select Include Estimates to retain the resource and travel estimates entered in the CE Enterprise proposal’s tasks. Or clear this option to add the proposal without estimates.
9. Click Process.
