Import previous estimates

Before performing the following steps, ensure your proposal has a direct rate table. EstimatorFLEX uses the assigned table to add resources to tasks during the import process.

1. Above the proposal breakdown structure (PBS), click More Actions > Previous Estimates.
2. Enter your ProPricer CE credentials or Windows credentials for the selected data server.
   • To change your login type, go to your system settings.
   • To select a different data server, go to the Integration proposal settings.
3. Click Next.
4. Set up the import process.
   1. Under Proposals, select a CE proposal to import from.
   2. Under Summary Fields:
      1. Map a CE summary field to your EstimatorFLEX proposal breakdown structure. The summary field will be the PBS, and the field values will be the PBS elements.
      2. Map any remaining CE summary fields to your EstimatorFLEX custom task fields. (Optional)
   3. WBS Elements shows every element of the CE summary field that's mapped to your PBS. Those you select will become PBS elements. Select or clear each element as needed. (Optional) If the summary field uses a title table in CE, then all elements and their hierarchy will be imported to your PBS by default.
   4. Under Resource Fields, map CE resource fields to your EstimatorFLEX custom resource fields. (Optional)
5. Click Process.
