Lock or unlock a proposal

Locking a proposal prevents other people from changing it but allows them to view it and delete it. If other people are working on a proposal when you lock it, they'll immediately get a notification.

On the Proposals page, the icon shows which ones are locked. If you submit an unlocked proposal to ProPricer™ Contractor Edition Enterprise, it will be locked automatically.

To lock or unlock a proposal, your role must have permission to access the Lock/Unlock Proposals feature.

  1. In the Navigation Pane, click Proposals.
  2. On the Proposals page, select a proposal.
  3. Go to the right and select Lock Proposal.
